I partnered closely with product, engineering, research, and data science teams to transform complex systems into intuitive experiences, from AI-powered document capture to curriculum discovery and classroom engagement tools.

My Role in Designing the Research Workflow
Researching the realities of classroom instruction
A key risk for the product was designing curriculum tools based on assumptions rather than actual classroom needs. To reduce this risk, we interviewed educators who would be responsible for discovering, assigning, and facilitating financial literacy content within their classrooms.
Our research revealed that educators were not a homogeneous user group. Teaching methods varied widely, from lecture-based instruction to independent, self-paced learning environments. This insight became a foundational design principle, leading us to prioritize flexibility, customization, and multiple paths for curriculum delivery.
Working closely with researchers and stakeholders, we developed a structured interview framework that enabled us to gather, synthesize, and translate educator feedback into product decisions.

MVP: Improving Interaction Clarity to Drive Measurable Impact
Identified friction in product comparison and ambiguous selection feedback within the carousel.
Recommended a simple blue shading enhancement to the radio button selection state, strengthening visual feedback and reducing ambiguity.
This lightweight refinement generated a +1.2 percentage point uplift in CVR compared to the version without shading.

5. Domain I worked on

Introduced and launched a new feature integrating Tagstar into the phone purchasing journey to enhance upselling.
Designed and implemented animated popups to help users understand their purchases by showcasing feedback on the best configurations and most popular options.
Tested color schemes and built final components, which are now being applied to other areas.
