TurboTax Document Capture- The Story Behind the Solution
"How might we make AI-powered document capture feel as simple as taking a photo?" -The challenge wasn't that users didn't understand document scanning, they believed manual entry was faster. Failed captures, unclear guidance, and correction flows reduced confidence in OCR. Through user research and usability testing, I identified these barriers and helped redesign the experience to make AI-assisted document capture faster, more predictable, and the preferred way to start filing.
